My thoughts

Personally, due to some childhood experiences, I still believe in some traditional Chinese face reading. Likewise, I believe that the five senses can simply tell the story of a person's character and life history and other experiences. I think this is a very magical means. The origins of face reading cannot be separated from the social context and philosophical theories of ancient societies. The fusion of the two theories of yin and yang and the five elements formed the framework of traditional Chinese thought and was widely used in various fields. In ancient times, as people's perception of the nature of things came from classical philosophy, they explored the causes of 'fate and misfortune, wealth and poverty' from the theories of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements.
It was often said that one could tell whether a melon was good, bad, raw, ripe, bitter or sweet by looking at its shape and colour; or whether a horse was a good stallion or a bad one by looking at the evenness of its parts, the colour of its hair, its appearance and its breathing.
The same is true of human beings, whose 'destiny' is inextricably linked to their 'looks' and 'temperament'. "Appearance" is the appearance, physique and features of an object or person; "temperament" is the appearance and demeanour of an object or person. It is a fixed number of factors predetermined before birth, both fixed and variable, and the destiny of a person is determined by both innate and acquired factors; things are fluid in their development, and the face of a person changes over time and space after birth and through information on the body surface. Thus, one can deduce a person's "destiny" and "fortune" from his or her physical condition, the colour of his or her features, etc.
